The sugarcane stalks are crushed in the mill&lt;br /&gt;to squeeze out the cane juice.The juice is &amp;nbsp;dark grayish green in colour . This juice is heated to&lt;br /&gt;boiling point and several chemicals are added to remove its dirt and make it pure. The molasses&lt;br /&gt;content is removed , from the juice after refining .&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The purified sugar syrup is concentrated to super saturation and repeatedly crystallized in a vaccum&lt;br /&gt;to produce white refined sugar. To produce the granulated sugar, the &amp;nbsp;sugar is dried by heating it in a rotary dryer(kind of industrial dryer) and then by blowing cool air through it for several days.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Molasses is a thick liquid by-product obtained from the residue after extraction of sugars.&lt;br /&gt;It is rich in carbohydrates, magnesium, copper, iron and B vitamins. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is only 99% sucrose in white sugar, which gives only &amp;nbsp;energy but&amp;nbsp;not the nutrients.&lt;br /&gt;In Brown Sugar, the molasses is present and also the other nutrients. It has less calories than white refined sugar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many types of sugar available in the market.&lt;br /&gt;1. White refined sugar&lt;br /&gt;2. Brown sugar&lt;br /&gt;3. Organic sugar,&lt;br /&gt;4. Enjoy the nature for atleast 10 minutes in the morning and evening.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;2. Do meditation for 10 minutes.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;3. Watch some Comedy Shows , so that you will forget your feelings and laugh out loud .&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;4. Do not take an afternoon nap. Control yourself and sleep only during the night, for atleast 8 hours.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;5. Have dinner &amp;nbsp;2 hours before sleeping, to avoid heartburns and in turn avoid stress.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;6. Unsaturated Fatty Acid&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Saturated Fatty Acid -&lt;br /&gt;It increases Cholestrol in blood and causes heart attack, paralysis, etc&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Unsaturated Fatty Acid -&lt;br /&gt;It is of 2 types - (a) Monounsaturated Fat&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; (b) Polyunsaturated &amp;nbsp;(It reduces cholestrol)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Polyunsaturated Fat &amp;nbsp;- &amp;nbsp;(a) Omega 3&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(b) Omega&amp;nbsp;6 &amp;nbsp; [both are good for health]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"&gt;Omega 3&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is available in -&lt;br /&gt;Non - vegetarian food - Fish , mainly Salmon&lt;br /&gt;Vegetarian food - &amp;nbsp;Onion, Olive Oil, Soya bean, Soya oil, Garlic&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;"&gt;It reduces -&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(a) reduces LDL Cholestrol&lt;br /&gt;(b) reduces Tryglyceride&lt;br /&gt;(c) increases HDL (good Cholestrol)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;"&gt;It helps to&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. avoid Heart attack&lt;br /&gt;2. avoid Joint pains&lt;br /&gt;3. Heart attack&lt;br /&gt;2. Joint pains&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How much to consume the Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 should be 1:2&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I came to know about all these facts from a &amp;nbsp;t.v. show conducted by a Cardiologist. We have to try to find this out in various  ways. Here in America, even kids have the habbit of reading. When i was a kid, i have never read books other than school syllabus books.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="{651791AD-A44D-46CB-8961-69748E16465D}" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;I have seen my mom and  grandma reading magazines, though. They told me too to read magazines, but i never did. Of course, later i started reading books like Nancy Drew, then .... M&amp;amp;B... Women's Era, India Today, etc from the Cosmopolitan Club's Library.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="{1170D69F-82D4-44C9-87DA-69F0B42C7AEC}" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;But later, i never got a chance to read, because of the changes in my life such as my studies ,&lt;/span&gt; work, etc . Later, I got an oppurtunity to register for a mobile library near my house in Bangalore, India. I just grabbed it!!!!! I started reading reading some novels.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="{48AFA29D-1017-4756-A893-D523927322A7}" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;After coming to US, i was very lucky to have libraries near my house. Then, i learnt how to choose good books, and  I started placing hold on new books in the library and read them.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="{B88E7280-25A8-434D-AF50-50EE000741CB}" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;After seeing me, my friend too wanted to start reading books. We come accross many women who dedicate their life wholly for their family members. They should also have time for their hobbies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They would have learnt some music or craft work or something of their interest before wedding.&lt;br /&gt;But after wedding, they would say that they don't have time for their hobbies. That's not true. Truly, they dont think about themselves, their health, etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I strongly recommend every woman  to  atleast spend one hour for herself daily. If she can sing, then she should sing out loud, in the house and enjoy herself fully. It will relax and soothe her mind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If she is not interested in music, then she can  dance however she wants,  inside the house.&lt;br /&gt;If she can't go out for a walk, she can walk inside the house itself . One important thing to remember, is, to concentrate only on walking , and not speaking over the phone, or doing something else.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A woman can also decorate the house, by recycling anything available in the house. Pretend as if you are going to the toy shop, choosing the colour of the toy your kid wants to own.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then, ask him/ her to pretend and take it to the billing counter him/herself, paying by cash / credit card, and finally say that he/she owns the toy. All we did was pretend and play.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The kid's wish has come out of the mind and  his/her feelings came out. We are going to talk about the experiences of a woman in every stage of life. We will also talk about the activities and thoughts that a woman should cultivate within herself apart from thinking about her family.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's go back and think about our childhood days. I think for most of us, it will be very sweet. I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Everybody who wants to share their childhood memories are welcome to write here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My memories -&lt;br /&gt;When i was a small kid, my dad used to give me food in the nights, in our patio, telling stories for more than an hour. This is something which comes to my mind first when i think about childhood.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then, when i was a little girl of 5 years of age, one evening, me and my dad went for a ride in a cycle. I sat in the kid's seat in front of the bicycle. Suddenly, I put my legs inside the wheel and me and my dad fell down. My leg got sprained , but i didnt even know about that.I was only worried if my dad got hurt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our memories might look silly to some people , but to us, it is very precious.&lt;br /&gt;Please feel free to share your memories too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As days pass by, we will share some more memories ...........&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;Please read the blog at http://lifeofawoman-vidhyaplv.blogspot.com/
